There are three different options for creating playlists: Discover Music, Artist Features, and Artist Releases. "Discover Music" lets you to select various songs, artists, or genres that you can mix to discover new music that match your preferences. Additionally, you can use the fine-tuning option to further customize the playlist by adjusting attributes like popularity or mood. The "Artist Features" option allows you to create a playlist containing every song on which a particular artist has been featured or appeared on. Lastly, the "Artist Releases" option simply generates a playlist encompassing all the albums, singles, or other releases by the artist.
The Spotify popularity index is determined based on three factors: the total number of streams a song has received, how recently it has been played, and the frequency of its plays. Spotify places particular importance on both the quantity and recency of streams, meaning that tracks with more recent streams are considered more popular. This underscores the need for consistent streams, as older plays are not as influential in determining a song's popularity compared to recent ones.
On each slider, there are two toggles representing a min and max. Set the minimum and maximum values for the desired attribute to restrict results within the specified range.
